Can You Get Your Website Seen by ChatGPT?
If you have a website, you have probably spent quite a bit of time thinking about Google. Getting your pages indexed, choosing the right keywords, improving your SEO and trying to get more visitors has been the normal way of building an online presence for years.
But things are changing.
People are now asking ChatGPT, Perplexity and other AI tools questions instead of always going to Google first. They might ask for the best software, a product recommendation, a service provider or even a list of websites worth checking out.
That raises an interesting question. What happens if your website is nowhere to be found when somebody asks AI for a recommendation?
That’s where AI Invisible caught my attention.
In this AI Invisible review, I’m going to look at what the idea is all about, why AI visibility matters, how it is different from traditional SEO and whether I think it is something worth looking at if you have a website or online business.

Why Is AI Search Visibility Becoming So Important?
For years, the main goal of SEO was relatively straightforward. You wanted your website to appear in Google’s search results when somebody searched for something related to your business.
You might aim for position one, two or three and hope people clicked through to your website.
AI search is different.
Instead of giving somebody a long list of ten blue links, an AI assistant can produce an answer and recommend particular businesses, websites, products or services.
That means being visible inside the answer can become just as important as appearing in a traditional search result.
Recent research into AI visibility has found that many businesses that perform reasonably well with traditional SEO still struggle to appear in AI-generated answers. One 2026 benchmark of more than 200 B2B SaaS and AI companies reported that 89% failed to meet its baseline requirements for consistent AI citation.
Now, I wouldn’t take one study as the final word on the subject, but it does highlight something worth thinking about.
Google SEO and AI visibility are not necessarily the same thing.
What Is AI Invisible?
AI Invisible is a guide focused on the growing area of AI search visibility.
The basic idea is simple: if people are using AI assistants to discover products, companies and websites, you want your business to have a chance of appearing when those questions are asked.
The product is aimed at people who want to understand why their website may not be getting noticed by AI platforms and what they can do to improve their chances.
That is an interesting subject because this area of online marketing is still relatively new.
We’ve had years to learn about Google SEO. There are countless SEO tools, courses and websites explaining keywords, backlinks, technical SEO and content.
AI search optimisation is still developing.
Terms such as AI SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) are becoming increasingly common as marketers try to understand how websites can become more visible in AI-generated answers.
How Is AI Visibility Different From SEO?
This is probably the most important part of understanding the product.
Traditional SEO is largely about helping search engines understand your website and rank your pages for particular searches.
AI visibility is more concerned with whether AI systems can understand your business, your content and your authority well enough to include you in an answer.
For example, imagine you run a website about AI software.
Someone could search Google for:
“Best AI tools for bloggers.”
You might rank on page one for that phrase.
But another person might ask ChatGPT:
“Can you recommend some good AI tools for bloggers?”
The answer could contain several recommendations, and your website might not be mentioned at all.
So you could have good Google rankings and still have poor visibility in AI answers.
That doesn’t mean traditional SEO is dead. Far from it.
It simply means website owners now have another area to think about.
Can AI Actually Read Your Website?
This is another interesting part of the AI visibility discussion.
AI systems use different crawlers, retrieval systems and sources to gather information from the web. Different platforms also behave differently.
Research published in 2026 has highlighted problems where websites can be technically visible to human visitors but difficult for AI crawlers to interpret because of issues such as JavaScript rendering, missing structured information or confusing site architecture.
That makes the technical side of your website more important than it might first appear.
If an AI system can’t properly understand your content, it becomes much harder for that content to be used as a source.
This is why things like clear headings, useful content, structured information and a well-organised website matter.
What Can You Do to Improve AI Visibility?
There isn’t one magic trick that suddenly makes ChatGPT recommend your website.
If there were, everyone would be doing it.
Instead, I think it makes more sense to look at the overall authority and clarity of your website.
Start with your content.
Make sure it clearly explains what your website is about and what you actually know about your subject.
Don’t write vague articles just to target keywords. Give people useful information.
You should also make your important information easy to understand. Clear headings, straightforward answers and well-organised pages can make your content easier for both people and machines to interpret.
Another area worth considering is your presence outside your own website.
AI systems don’t necessarily rely only on your homepage. Information can come from articles, reviews, directories, third-party websites and other sources around the web. This broader online presence can help establish what a business or website is known for.
That’s something I find particularly interesting.
Your website isn’t necessarily the entire story anymore.
Who Is AI Invisible For?
I think the product is most relevant to website owners, bloggers, affiliate marketers, small businesses and online entrepreneurs.
If you have a website and you’re already working on SEO, it makes sense to start thinking about where AI search fits into your strategy.

It could also be interesting for people who provide SEO or digital marketing services because AI visibility is becoming another subject clients are likely to ask about.
For someone who doesn’t have a website or isn’t interested in online marketing, however, I don’t think this would be particularly useful.
What I Like About the Idea
The biggest thing I like about AI Invisible is the timing.
AI search is developing quickly, and I think website owners would be foolish to completely ignore it.
I’m not saying everyone needs to throw away their SEO strategy and start again.
Quite the opposite.
I’d continue doing the fundamentals properly while also looking at how AI platforms understand and reference your content.
I also like the fact that the subject is more specific than simply saying “use AI to make money.”
There is a real problem here.
People are using AI to find information, and businesses want to be included in those conversations.
That’s worth paying attention to.
What I Would Be Careful About
I wouldn’t expect AI Invisible, or any similar product, to guarantee that ChatGPT will suddenly start recommending your website.
Nobody can honestly guarantee that.
AI platforms change.
Their algorithms change.
The sources they use can change.
And different AI systems can produce different answers to exactly the same question.
Even if you follow every recommendation correctly, there is no guarantee your website will appear in every relevant AI response.
I’d also be wary of anyone claiming there is a secret button that can make your website permanently visible across every AI platform.
There isn’t.
Think of AI visibility as another part of your overall online marketing strategy rather than a shortcut.
Does AI Visibility Replace Google SEO?
No, and I wouldn’t approach it that way.
Google is still extremely important for website traffic, and traditional SEO remains something worth working on.
What I think is changing is the number of places where people can discover your business.
Google is one.
YouTube is another.
Social media is another.
And now we’re seeing AI assistants becoming another route to information and recommendations.
So instead of asking whether you should do SEO or AI optimisation, I’d ask how you can do both.
Your existing SEO work can actually provide a useful foundation because good websites generally need clear content, good structure and useful information regardless of where the visitor comes from.
Is AI Invisible Worth Considering?
If you already have a website and you’re interested in getting more visibility from AI search, I think AI Invisible is worth investigating.
The subject is relevant, particularly if you have been concentrating entirely on Google and haven’t yet considered how your website appears in ChatGPT, Perplexity and other AI systems.
However, I’d keep my expectations realistic.
This isn’t something I’d buy expecting overnight traffic.
I’d look at it as a learning resource that may help you understand a relatively new part of online marketing.
The best results are likely to come from combining what you learn with the work you’re already doing on your website.
My AI Invisible Review Verdict
AI search is not going away, and I think website owners should start paying attention to it.
The days when Google was the only place people went to find information are changing. People can now ask an AI assistant a question and receive a shortlist of recommendations without ever opening a traditional search results page.
That creates a new opportunity for websites that can establish themselves as useful, trustworthy sources.
For me, that’s the interesting part of AI Invisible.
It’s not about some magic AI trick. It’s about understanding a new way people are discovering information online.
If you’re building a blog, affiliate website or online business, I think learning about AI search optimisation, ChatGPT visibility and AI SEO is worth your time.
Just remember that no guide can guarantee that an AI platform will recommend your website.
Your best approach is still to create genuinely useful content, build your authority, make your website easy to understand and keep improving it.
My Rating: 4 out of 5
Overall, I think AI Invisible is an interesting resource for website owners who want to understand the growing world of AI search visibility. If you’re already working on SEO, this could be another area worth learning about rather than waiting until AI search becomes even more important.
